As we reflect on the year 2009, many of us understand it was a year full of economic and business challenges. But as we look forward to the year 2010 many indications point to another year of challenges, but for those who plan and implement correctly it can be a successful one. As a team of professionals focused on the aesthetic procedure industry, we have the benefit of seeing everyday what, and what does not work, in many of today's Aesthetic procedure practices. For our current customers that we see on a regular basis we share many of these ideas with them, and for those who we have done business with in the past and hope to in the future, we decided to offer this newsletter once every few months as a way to reach you with this information as well.
So, as the year 2010 begins, we continue to see that many patients are seeking out "results oriented" procedures that have fairly predictable outcomes at a fair price. How can this be achieved? We believe it starts with top of the line laser equipment performing popular procedures like light to mid depth ablative laser peels, variable density and depth ablative fractional treatments (combined either with the peel or as a stand alone procedure), skin laxity tightening, etc. How can this be done at a fair price and still generate a reasonable profit? I made an interesting observations today: A well known laser manufacturer told a potential new customer that they are always striving to add new products to their product mix. While this may be good for a Wall Street investor, I am not sure it is good for the customer who signs a purchasing le...
