When heating your dermis, cells called fibroblasts are excited. These
cells respond by producing collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin
provide a cellular matrix that supports the skin. In only a few months
time, regenerating the skin's matrix results in a full, smooth, tight, and
vibrant appearance. A series of four to six treatments is recommended
with a 30-day period between each treatment allowing the body to
stimulate its own collagen production. As each person differs, your patients may choose additional treatments to achieve maximum results. They may choose to maintain their results with an additional treatment every 6-18 months.
